Learning From My Gaming Blunders
July 5th, 2023 by Kirsten

I have been betting on the web or at land based gambling halls for a lot of years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even see it up until you are bankrupt. Markedly if you are on a scoring streak. I have been through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and even still on occasion, I can go too long. It seems you are only enjoying yourself up until you decide to track your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you continue advising yourself "I can likely win the funds back" again and again. It does not work. Then you get sick to your abdomen and the more you attempt the quicker you give away.

When you see that you are up, Remain on the UP! When you start to fritter away, don’t convince yourself, "well just 1 more" and again and again, believe me, this plan almost never ever operates. Say you are wagering on one armed bandits, keep a value separate before starting your play. DON’T exceed that restriction, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to earn, put that in an alternate pot. Don’t bet your winnings regardless of what happens. After you have wagered through your initial predetermined threshold, stop. Leave, whether it is online or in a real life gambling hall, don’t stick at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there will be other days, other times. Clearly, this scheme can work for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, chemin de fer or any other game.

Remember, gambling should be entertaining not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the loss, do not even begin.
